The product is not microwave, oven or freezer proof. Glass inners are fragile. If mishandled or dropped the glass insert may break. Keep the thermos away from direct heat to protect any plastic materials from damage. Before using the thermos, pre-fill for about 3 minutes, using either hot water for hot drinks or cold water for chilled drinks to ensure the optimal efficiency.
